Megyn Kelly had a major face-off with DNC chairwoman Donna Brazile tonight as the Fox host asked her tonight about the indications that Brazile helped give Hillary Clinton the advantage during the primaries. After a contentious discussion over who is responsible for the content James O’Keefe filmed in his new video, Kelly asked her about one of the biggest relations WikiLeaks produced from their John Podesta email dump. Approximately a week ago, indications suggested that Brazile possessed a CNN debate question, which she seemingly gave to Clinton’s campaign chairman while she was still a contributor on the network. Brazile insisted that she did not receive the question from CNN, but Kelly pressed her and noted that she must have gotten it from somewhere if she had the exact wording. From there, things got hot pretty fast: “As a Christian woman, I understand persecution. Your information is false… Podesta’s emails were stolen. You’re so interested in talking about stolen material, you’re like a thief that wants to bring into the night the things that you found in the gutter.” Kelly pressed Brazile further on her source while noting that even CNN’s Jake Tapper condemned the leak. Brazile responded by saying she wouldn’t “validate falsified information,” and that Wikileaks might have added doctored emails into the messages that WikiLeaks illegally lifted. The question was for a Democratic primary town hall hosted by CNN and co-moderated by Roland Martin, the journalist who asked it at the forum. This information was revealed in a recent Wikileaks dump of John Podesta's emails. "From time to time I get the questions in advance," the email subject was titled in a letter written from Brazile delivered to Podesta's Gmail. Brazile did not give a coherent explanation other than to say she won't respond to content that was stolen, the hacked emails, and that she will not let herself be "persecuted" by Megyn Kelly who grilled her for an explanation. She also accused Kelly of being a "thief." "As a Christian woman, I understand persecution," Brazile told Kelly. "Your information is false. What you're -- well, for suggestive e-mails were stolen. You're interested and you're like a thief that wants to bring into the night the things that." "I have seen so many doctored emails. I have seen things that come from me at 2 in the morning that I don't even send. There are several email addresses that I once used. This has not been verified.
