Pretty Perennials?

I'm hoping to compile a list over time of perennials that look pretty enough to compete with annuals; quite a few perennials aren't all that pretty. So, what's your favorite perennial? I'll post updates as I find ones I enjoy as well.

My favourite perennials are; peonies, rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, mock orange. Californian lilacs, boronias, hydrangeas and many more.
