Favorite Alcoholic Drinks

I don't drink anymore but use to like beer and scotch and dry ginger ale when I'd had enough of drinking beer😃

I have never tried scotch. It's something on my to-do list. Media gives the impression old white guys drink scotch, so one of these days

Use to drink scotch at 18.  They served it at my going away party at my first full time job. I vowed never to touch it again ... egads!😃

You are very wise Sharon. If you are not used to scotch than I'd advise you not to drink to much DW. Never did like the hangovers, lol.

It's been a while since I've gone overboard though. There was actually a time when I had a fair amount of parties at my place, back when I had a room mate. But things change when you are married with a kid😃

Oh Yes - once you have a kid your things change a tad ;) 

Did you ever have Boonesfarm Wine - egads - talk about rooms spinning - Whew - never again - one of those underage days when you give drinking a try or am I the only bad one here?

When I go out with friends I order Kahlua and Milk or Cream as it has no effect on me no matter how many I drink.  It's a good sociable drink for me🙂

Yes you tend to be a bit tied down when you have kids DW. Your not the only one Sharon I had many nights when I come home from drinking and you go to bed and everything is spinning, I don't miss those days at all.😃I haven't had a drink now for close to 2 years.

 I was actually a pretty good kid - once upon a time😛Didn't drink anything until 21. 

Congrats on not having a drink for 2 years lonewolf! Alcohol is tricky bugger. I have friends that won't touch the stuff because their parents weren't able to control their habits.

Another one I like: Buchanan's Whiskey with a bit of Canada Dry and Ice. 

21 hay,thats good DW, I started drinking and smoking at the age of 16, here the legal age for drinkng is 18. Thanks DW, alcohol is a hard habbit to kick and I only stoped when I got to ill but my liver thanks me for it, lol. Yes If you grow up with parents who have an alcohol problem then you tend not to drink yourself. That Buchanan sounds like a nice drop, I liked Johnnie Walker and dry, more expensive but.

What about 'The Famous Grouse'? That one is really really my favorite🙂

That's something I've never had😃and something I'll have to try.

Never had that one either, or I don't think I have XD, our clubs and pubs give you the house scotch if you don't ask for a brand name because the house scotch is cheaper.
