The Witness - Good, Great, or Terrible Game?

I was wondering what everyone else thought of The Witness? It seems like it's a love or hate game; which mostly comes down to whether you like puzzles, or you don't. Personally it's not a game I would enjoy playing; though I appreciate it immensely. I could never get into things like Myst. However, I've been having a blast watching day9 play The Witness. I think it's incredibly well done, and am amazing game. Just not my genre :p

If you wouldn't enjoy playing through it why would you even consider it as an amazing game? Good games are games that are fun to play.
