Honestly, I thought the production quality would be a little higher considering we have Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Scarlett Johansson. I believe I remember Levitt being executive producer though - so maybe one of his first major films. Otherwise, I think it's a fine movie. Definitely not for everyone; but it does address some issues that are facing kids growing up today.

I SURE DID. I can't wait for season two. While Gundam stuff isn't always my favorite, this was done pretty well, and I love the world of Sidonia. It's a little Battlestar Galactica in a way.

Eventually I'm looking at getting a new computer, and when I do I'm going to try and do some sci fi 4x games. 

I'm REALLY looking forward to Civilization Beyond Earth - and will probably end up purchasing that regardless of a new machine or not since I'm pretty sure I can run it decently.

Honorable mention: Gnomoria!!! This is one of my favorite indie games. A little community management game, and super fun.

V Energy Drink. I've never seen one of those! I'll have to keep an eye out. It reminds me of our Monster energy drinks.

Rockstar has new type of energy drink that includes 'hydration' - and believe it or not - I think it helps. Energy drinks make me crash like nobodies business. The energy + hydration kind don't have as bad as a negative side effect.

Still chugging along through Final Fantasy IX. Fun game, though I do wish there was a version with upgrade graphics.

At least with what I am familiar with, there are pecans in most.

Speaking of ice cream - I just had some Coffee Coffee Buzz buzz buzz from Ben & Jerrys. I think I found a new all time favorite😃

😃I It's funny. I know I did not like coffee too much at first, but now it's hard to imagine a time when I wasn't a fan.

Part of that is probably the semi-addicting nature of it😛

Oh definitely. It's been crazy hot here lately, but once it cools down a little bit - maybe into the mid 90's - I'm going to wake up extra early and get a nice pour over.

The coffee up north in Oregon and Washington is supposed to be wonderful. Maybe one day I'll go on a coffee adventure.

Spirited Away is absolutely one of my favorite studio Ghibli movies - and more than that - one of my favorite movies of all time. I was trying to think of what makes it so special; and at least in part it's how well the movie makes you feel like you've gone to a truly different and magical place. It feels real. What do other people thinks makes this a great movie? Or do you not think it's a great one? I'm curious :D

Over here... it's stupid hot. Yesterday was 114. Today it's going to be 109. Northern California.
